Kunoa’s Jack Beuttell Named to PBN '40 Under 40' List
July 11, 2017
Our cofounder Jack Beuttell (pictured, left) was honored recently with a Pacific Business News 40 Under 40 award. This is the 18th year PBN has given the award, which honors 40 outstanding young professionals in Hawaii who are making a difference in their workplaces and communities each year.
Jack’s vision for creating a cattle company that produces healthy, local food while healing the land and engaging with the community caught the editors’ attention.
In an article about Jack, the magazine highlighted some of the elements of Kunoa’s business model that he’s responsible for shaping, like our regenerative farming techniques, our partnership with the Hawaii Youth Correctional Facility to hire employees, and a plan to develop an interactive educational campus to help teach the public about renewable energy and waste management.
“It’s really nice to be included with such an incredible group of young people doing important work in our community,” says Jack. “Thanks to PBN for a fantastic program and experience.”
Everyone here at Kunoa is proud of Jack’s award and the vision he brings to the business. It’s part of what makes coming to work every day so much fun. Congratulations, Jack!
